If you have Delete permission on a given comment, and Relate permission on the discussion’s primary parent, you can delete that comment and any replies to it.

If you have Delete permission on all of the discussion’s parents, you can delete all comments, even ones made by other people.

If you have Delete for all parents, you can make the discussion unavailable by deleting all of them.
