The text in the descriptions and comment threads of folders is indexed for searching in the repository. Folder descriptions are included in any search that includes full text and has Type of object set to either Sysobject (dm_sysobject) or Folder (dm_folder), or a folder subtype, in the Advanced Search dialog.

When a description matches the search criteria, the folder is listed in the results.
