You can add content to the RTE by typing, pasting, or dragging and dropping a selection of rich text from another client-side application, or from another RTE, or within the same RTE (a selection from an RTE can include images).

When rich text that was composed outside the RTE is pasted into the RTE, it may contain elements that can be displayed but not directly edited. In general, the RTE will render any HTML content that the web browser can display. For example, a selection from a web browser that contains an HTML table appears as such when you paste it into the RTE. In this case you can edit the text within the table cells, but not the table itself.
